The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page tries to clinch but Khaan is having none of it.
Khaan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Chinggis Khaan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khaan throws a jab when Page was well out of range.
Khaan fails to land with a series of punches.
Page throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The crowd cheers as Page lands an impressive looking overhand right. Khaan doesn't seem phased though.
Khaan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've been hearing good reports from Page's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
