Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paddy Bateman (ranked 100 p4p, 14 weight class) and Stephen Campbell (ranked 353 p4p, 37 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paddy Bateman!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 7 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stephen Campbell!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bateman shoots in and bounces Campbell off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Our spies down at at LOD Gym of the Gods inform us that Campbell has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Campbell lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bateman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bateman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Bateman stalks Campbell and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Campbell's face. Campbell staggers backwards, shaken.
Campbell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bateman as he avoids it easily.
Campbell is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Campbell jabbing away but nothing is landing.

And that's the end of the fight!
Paddy Bateman showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Bateman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
