Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ian McAllister (ranked 5912 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clint Stable (ranked 8480 p4p, 0 weight class). Clint Stable will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Clint Stable!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAllister throws a head kick that misses.
Despite the aggression on Stable's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
McAllister fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Stable appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
McAllister tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stable swivels and escapes.
McAllister takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Stable punishes McAllister's body with a nice straight punch.
Stable works the jab nicely.
Stable throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McAllister.

McAllister lands a big head kick that sends Stable tumbling to the mat! McAllister takes a step backwards and waves Stable back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Stable is rocked!


It looks like Clint Stable has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McAllister throws a right hand that Stable ducks under and follows up with a left that Stable also avoids with ease.
Despite the aggression on Stable's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Stable is still on wobbly legs! Can McAllister finish him?
McAllister misses the shot to the body.
Stable seems to have recovered his senses.
Stable scores with a one two! McAllister had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

McAllister uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stable.

McAllister drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Stable is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

McAllister wants to control but Stable is keeping him busy.

McAllister is trying to get an arm triangle but Stable is defending well.
McAllister grinds an elbow into Stable's temple.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stable is trying to improve his position.

McAllister tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McAllister controls the position.
McAllister tries to move into full mount but can't pass Stable's legs.
McAllister wants to control but Stable is keeping him busy.

McAllister gets to mount! Stable was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Stable is desperately trying to improve his position but McAllister has a good base and remains in mount.

McAllister goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Stable is on top in guard.

Stable drops back, looking for a kneebar! McAllister looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McAllister looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McAllister!

Stable is looking to reverse the position.

McAllister tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Stable manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Stable is looking for a sweep. McAllister is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Clint Stable's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



McAllister gets a takedown into half guard.
Ian McAllister overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
McAllister prevents Stable from improving his position.
Stable is still trying to improve position.
It looks like McAllister is going to stand back up.
McAllister wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stable keeps working.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stable moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
We've been informed that Stable has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

McAllister is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Stable wants to sweep here but McAllister controlling him for the moment.

Stable had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McAllister defends it easily.
McAllister wants to control from the top but Stable keeps moving.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

McAllister avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
McAllister scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
McAllister postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Stable looking to hit a scissor sweep but McAllister is one step ahead there.
McAllister postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
McAllister controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Stable wants to sweep but no luck.
McAllister trying to control but Stable is working from the bottom.

Stable has an active guard here but McAllister has managed to pass into half guard.

McAllister postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Stable to stand up.
Stable rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McAllister moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stable fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Stable is breathing heavily.
Stable throws a half hearted mid kick.
McAllister seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Stable throws a series of punches but McAllister moves out of range.
McAllister tries to counter by clinching up but Stable breaks away and moves out of range.
McAllister avoids a punch combination nicely.

McAllister shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stable pinned against the cage. Stable gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

McAllister rushes Stable and presses him up against the cage.
McAllister can't get the takedown.
Stable fails to pull the fight into his guard.

McAllister pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Clint Stable seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
McAllister drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Stable will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McAllister closes the distance and clinches up with Stable, looking for a takedown. McAllister pushes Stable against the cage but Stable circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stable throws out a counter right but McAllister avoids it with no problem.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ian McAllister will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Clint Stable's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

McAllister shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stable pinned against the cage. Stable gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Stable is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down McAllister rather than just go for the knockout.

McAllister went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Stable feints a jab promting McAllister to slip. Stable then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McAllister slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
McAllister misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stable fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches McAllister on the side of the head.
McAllister tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stable swivels and escapes.
McAllister shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stable as he avoids it easily.

Stable fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Stable throws a series of punches but McAllister avoids them all with ease.
McAllister throws a series of strikes that have Stable backpedaling.
McAllister tries to bum rush Stable with a series of wild strikes but Stable uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McAllister tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Stable defends well and McAllister ends up having to push Stable into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Stable is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
McAllister takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
McAllister misses with a two punch combination.
McAllister needs to keep his hands up - Stable had a free shot at his head there.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stable manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. McAllister keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Stable breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McAllister shoots in for a takedown but Stable shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Stable avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McAllister takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Stable fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Stable scores with a body shot.
McAllister misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McAllister throws a right and a left that Stable avoids nicely.
Stable lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
No luck for McAllister with that takedown attempt.
Clint Stable has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ian McAllister is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
McAllister chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stable can pounce on him.

And that's the end of the fight!
Clint Stable comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think McAllister has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
