The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holliday looks to land a left hand but Go moved out of range nicely.
Go throws a body shot but no joy.
Go has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Holliday is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Holliday thuds his right hand into Go's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Omise Go has been cut.
Holliday swats away the attempt to clinch by Go.
Go connects with a right hand. Holliday shakes it off.
Holliday takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Go tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Go is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Good leg kick by Holliday there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Holliday moves out of range as Go strikes.
Go fails with an attempt to clinch.
Holliday tries to counter by clinching up but Go breaks away and moves out of range.
Go throws a shot from downtown. Holliday moves away and avoids it.
Holliday is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Go.

Go takes a swing at Holliday's ribcage but misses.
Holliday with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Go to score with a decent uppercut.
Go fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Omise Go seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Go tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Holliday manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Holliday throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Go connects with a crisp jab.
Holliday walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Go checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Holliday takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Go lands with a hook. Holliday tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Go connects with a jab.
Holliday keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Go.
Holliday ducks right into an uppercut from Go.
Holliday keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
It looked like Holliday wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Holliday fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
