The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Dibala has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Fon stands up out of the half guard.

Fon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dibala to the mat! Dibala manages to get full guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Dibala wants to stand but Fon is controlling the position.

Dibala is working an open guard so Fon takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dibala misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dibala as he avoids it easily.
Dibala lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Fon shoots in but Dibala avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dibala misses with a wild body shot.
Fon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dibala avoids it really well and circles away.
Luke Dibala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rae Fon.

and Dibala counters with a crisp right hand that drops Fon! Dibala lets Fon back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Fon is rocked!
Dibala shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Fon takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Dibala sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Fon bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
