Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manning closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rizzo did well to prevent Manning getting side control.

Manning has hold of Rizzo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rizzo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've been hearing good reports from Manning's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Rizzo is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Manning is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Rizzo is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Rizzo flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Manning anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Rizzo and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Manning slips an arm under Rizzo chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Manning has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Manning is squeezing on Rizzo like an anaconda would it's prey. Rizzo fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
