Galvao doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Von Mises to counter with a crisp jab.

Galvao drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Von Mises manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Galvao has Von Mises in his guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Galvao's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Galvao escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Von Mises gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
