Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ozzy McKane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tristan Fenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McKane comes to the cage accompanied by SAIL - AWOLNATION. Fenix has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Ozzy McKane has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ozzy McKane seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fenix scores with a punch to the head.
Fenix uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McKane.
McKane throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fenix flicks out a counter leg kick but McKane steps away.
Nice jab there from McKane.
Fenix misses with a wild combination.
McKane connects with a crisp jab.
Jab, jab by Fenix - just one landing.
McKane scores with a nice head shot.
Good exchange - McKane coming out on top.
McKane drops his hands momentarily and Fenix takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fenix swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Fenix throws a leg kick but McKane sees it coming and moves out of range.
McKane misses with a hook.
McKane gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
McKane throws a looping overhand right but Fenix ducks down to avoid it.
Fenix now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Fenix lands with a thumping leg kick.
Fenix fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Fenix closes the distance and lands a one-two.
McKane on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
McKane swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fenix swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Fenix scores with a jab to the jaw.
Good standup being displayed there by Fenix as he connects with a hook.
McKane lands a nice leg kick that just misses Fenix's sensitive parts.
The crowd cheers as Fenix lands an impressive looking overhand right. McKane doesn't seem phased though.
McKane has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fenix.
Fenix looks to land a combination but McKane avoids it well.
McKane throws a nice inside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Fenix counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
McKane wants to improve his position but Fenix is controlling well.
Fenix has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

McKane is in all sorts of trouble here.

Fenix with shots to the head and body - McKane looks very uncomfortable down there.
Fenix with a couple of short strikes.
Fenix trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Fenix landing strikes from the mount and McKane is in trouble!

Fenix unloads with some shots from mount but McKane bucks and avoids them well.
McKane bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
McKane pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fenix is keeping the position for now.

Fenix looking for submissions from the bottom but instead McKane passes into side control.
Fenix can't do much from the bottom here.

Fenix tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McKane wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
McKane wants to control but Fenix is keeping him busy.
Fenix is trying to control McKane's posture but McKane avoids it.
Fenix sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

McKane is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Fenix is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tristan Fenix dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Fenix is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McKane.
Fenix lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Fenix throws a shot from downtown. McKane moves away and avoids it.
Tristan Fenix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McKane ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fenix moves away.
Fenix misses with a shot to the body
and McKane counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Fenix swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McKane.
Fenix lands a nice looking body shot.
Horrible takedown attempt by Fenix or perhaps it was just good defense by McKane, which made it look bad.
It looked like McKane wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
McKane lands a really nice looking cross but Fenix seems unphased.

It looks like Tristan Fenix has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McKane misses with a wild body shot.

A jab from McKane does it's job there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fenix looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McKane is fending him off so far but Fenix persists. Nope, McKane circles away and we're back to standing.

McKane lands a big uppercut and Fenix crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Fenix looks OK. McKane waves Fenix back to his feet!

Fenix is rocked!
McKane dances in with a quick combination. Fenix is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from McKane snaps Fenix's head back. Fenix stumbles backwards against the cage. McKane steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Fenix's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Fenix just didn't come prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ozzy McKane!
After the fight, Ozzy McKane was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Tristan Fenix spoke after the fight, saying '1-1.'.
