Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slick Minard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slick Minard is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minard shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Allen appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Minard has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Allen.
Minard goes for a double leg but Allen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Allen continues to drive forward.
Minard will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
George Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Slick Minard.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Minard crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Allen - the referee stops the clock and Minard gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Allen. Minard manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Allen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Minard.
