The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarkisyan connects with a leg kick. Odenson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Sarkisyan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Odenson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Odenson looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Sarkisyan blocks the body kick.
Aharon Sarkisyan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sarkisyan throws a leg kick which misses Odenson's front leg but catches the back leg as Odenson tries to avoid it.
Sarkisyan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Odenson's head.

Odenson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Sarkisyan lands with an uppercut that bounces Odenson off the cage and back into range.
Sarkisyan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Odenson. That did some damage!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sarkisyan seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

It seemed like Odenson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Odenson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Sarkisyan takes a swing at Odenson's ribcage but misses.
Sarkisyan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Sarkisyan swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Odenson.
Sarkisyan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Odenson is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Odenson is rocked!
Sarkisyan walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Odenson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Sarkisyan swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Odenson's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
