Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diabolical Denubis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leeland Lillard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Denubis comes to the cage accompanied by Man in Black. On his way into the cage it seems that Diabolical Denubis has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Diabolical Denubis seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Denubis on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Denubis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Denubis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Denubis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Denubis tries to move to mount but Lillard blocks the move with his legs.

Denubis is trying to get an arm triangle but Lillard is defending well.

Denubis wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lillard, who protects the arm well.

Denubis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Denubis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lillard is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Denubis in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Denubis is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Denubis uses his free foot to push down on Lillard's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lillard.
Denubis is looking to work his way around to Lillard's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Lillard stops Denubis from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Denubis seems to be looking for submissions.
Denubis tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lillard knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Denubis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Lillard stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lillard wants it to stay on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lillard cracks Denubis's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Denubis slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Lillard can do further damage! This one is done, son!
