Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clint Barton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuuto Yoshida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoshida comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Blue Oyster Cult Godzilla kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Clint Barton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Yuuto Yoshida!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshida moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Yoshida checks a leg kick.
Yoshida rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barton moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Yoshida cracks Barton with a right hand to the side of the head.
Yoshida with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Barton to score with a decent uppercut.
Barton throws a head kick but Yoshida moves out of range.
Yoshida stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Barton slips a jab from Yoshida.
Yoshida tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barton swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Barton closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Barton lands in his opponent's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barton tries to free his leg and advance position but Yoshida is retaining full guard.
Yoshida wants to get back to his feet but Barton is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Barton postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Yoshida manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Yoshida ducks under a wild hook from Barton.
Yoshida sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Yuuto Yoshida is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Yoshida has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Barton goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Barton pivots, looking for a leg kick but Yoshida is out of range and Barton settles back down.
Yoshida fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barton manages to avoid it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yoshida takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Yoshida has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Barton.
Yoshida feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Barton's calf.
Barton takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Yoshida gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Barton postures up in Yoshida's guard and throws a big left but Yoshida blocks it.
Barton cracks Yoshida with a solid left hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barton keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Yoshida's head.

Barton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Yoshida wants to stand and escape but Barton is having none of it.

We've been hearing that Barton has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yoshida lands a big head kick that sends Barton to the canvas! Yoshida follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
