PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cameron Krauss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devre Luck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Krauss might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rest in Peace. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cameron Krauss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Devre Luck!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luck throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Krauss on the side of the head.
Krauss is looking to clinch but Luck is avoiding it.
A nice combination there by Luck.
Krauss fails with a takedown attempt.
Luck looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Luck fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Krauss pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Krauss wants to clinch
and Luck connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Krauss doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Luck counters with a one-two to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Krauss wants to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Luck cracks Krauss with a good jab.
Luck catches Krauss with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Krauss will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Luck looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cameron Krauss. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Luck keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Krauss with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Luck to score with a decent uppercut.
Luck has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Luck's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Luck duly obliges.


Krauss is rocked!
Luck lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Oh Krauss is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Luck fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Krauss to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Krauss looks to clinch but Luck throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Krauss taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Devre Luck!
