Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anderson Voorhees!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kenuichio Harada!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harada throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Voorhees swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Voorhees on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Voorhees moves out of range as Harada throws a body kick.
Harada works the jab nicely.

It looks like Anderson Voorhees has been cut.
Voorhees tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Harada swivels and escapes.
Harada moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Harada throws a nice outside leg kick.
Voorhees shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Harada as he avoids it easily.
Voorhees misses with a takedown attempt
and Harada counters with a slapping leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Voorhees. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Voorhees is breathing heavily.

and Harada counters with a body kick that stops Voorhees in his tracks momentarily.
Harada lands a leg kick that knocks Voorhees off balance momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Harada lands a jab.
Harada connects with an inside leg kick.
Harada throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Harada lands a nice leg kick that just misses Voorhees's sensitive parts.
A thudding body kick lands there by Harada!
Harada cracks a nice hook into Voorhees's ribs.

Harada cracks Voorhees with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Harada has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Voorhees to stand back up!

Voorhees is rocked!
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Harada has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Voorhees gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Harada gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kenuichio Harada!
Kenuichio Harada very nearly forgot to thank Conviction amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
