The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Miranda.
Obi swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Miranda shoots for a takedown but Obi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Miranda throws a left and a right that both miss
and Obi counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Cristiano Miranda has been cut.
Miranda misses with a low kick.
Miranda looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Obi drops Miranda with a beautiful combination! Miranda stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Obi is looking for the KO!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Obi slips under a jab from Miranda.
Obi cracks Miranda with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Miranda tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Obi pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Miranda is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wilson Obi!
