Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jared Wild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wild might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Type O Negative - Love You to Death. Marciano has chosen DEAD MAN'S GUN as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Don Marciano is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 46 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Don Marciano!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano throws a wild body kick that Wild sees coming a mile off.
A swing and a miss from Wild.
Marciano moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Wild misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Marciano.
Marciano on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wild. Wild obviously looking to wear him down.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Marciano creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
I was talking to Wild's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Marciano is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Wild is defending well for now.

Wild pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Marciano takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Marciano has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Wild.
Marciano tries to land a front kick but Wild steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Marciano blocks a low kick nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Wild lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Marciano takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Marciano throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jared Wild will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Wild throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Marciano fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wild.
Wild fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Marciano has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Marciano tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Wild is able to avoid easily.

A looping hook to the body misses from Wild. Marciano does a little dance to reset his feet.

Marciano looks low and kicks high, catching Wild right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!

Marciano is stalking his opponent - BOOM! Switch kick out of nowhere! Wild is not moving; he is out cold!! Wow, what a quick finish that was.

Don Marciano took some time post fight to say the following; '"Garson DeBramalo - get your ass back in this ring with me. Winner gets a title shot. I've got a million says I kick your ass."'.
