Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey O Neil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Neil comes to the cage accompanied by Golden Brown. Taylor is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by . Tim Taylor told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as O Neil throws out the jab.
Sloppy strikes from O Neil. Those never looked like landing.
Mickey O Neil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Taylor with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
O Neil's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and O Neil duly obliges.
It looks like Tim Taylor has been cut.
O Neil drops Taylor with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Taylor looks back up at him and smiles so O Neil waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Taylor is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
O Neil on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Taylor misses with a looping right.
O Neil thows a body shot but no joy.
A slapping body kick lands there for O Neil.
A nice leg kick lands there from O Neil.
O Neil moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Nice cross by O Neil.
Taylor throws a hook but O Neil avoids it easily.
Taylor sizes up O Neil with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
O Neil jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Taylor looks to land a right hand but O Neil moved out of range.
O Neil tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Taylor cracks O Neil with a good jab.
Nice body kick from Taylor.
O Neil rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Taylor moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
O Neil throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Taylor throws a good cross that connects.
That's one minute gone in the round.
O Neil looking to land some kicks to the body here.
O Neil throws the kick towards the body but Taylor avoids it.
Taylor throws a shot from downtown. O Neil moves away and avoids it.
O Neil throws a low kick but Taylor avoids it.
O Neil throws a body punch but Taylor moves out of range.
O Neil tries to work over Taylor's front leg with a kick but Taylor checks it.
O Neil is looking to clinch but Taylor is avoiding it.
O Neil lands a big head kick that sends Taylor tumbling to the mat! O Neil takes a step backwards and waves Taylor back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
O Neil closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Taylor! O Neil dives in looking to finish! Taylor is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mickey O Neil!
