The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Frost checks a leg kick.

McGowen rushes Frost and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Frost misses with a knee strike.
Frost blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
McGowen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Frost is defending well for now.
Frost on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

McGowen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Frost walks away with a smile on his face. McGowen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jamison McGowen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGowen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

and Frost counters with an outside leg kick.
McGowen misses with a low kick.
McGowen shoots for a double leg takedown but Frost sprawls well. He's pushed McGowen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Frost lands a nice shot to the body.
