Stone has chosen SMALL AXE as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brian Watson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Stone!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Watson or perhaps it was just good defense by Stone which made him look bad.

Watson closes the distance and clinches.
Stone missing with knees to the body.
Stone lands a damaging elbow.
Stone displaying some good clinch control by pressing Watson up against the cage.
Stone throws a punch but it's blocked by Watson.
Watson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Stone prevents it.
Watson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Stone gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Watson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Stone cracks Watson with a nice body shot.
Stone lands an elbow inside.

Stone is fighting off a takedown attempt but Watson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Stone to the mat. Stone regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Watson wants to control from the top but Stone keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stone pulls Watson in close to prevent any damage.

Watson drops back looking for a leg! Stone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stone manages to kick Watson off! Watson jumps back into Stone's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stone has momentary wrist control but Watson slips an elbow through the middle.
Watson wants to pass the guard but Stone is keeping the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Brian Watson will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Watson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Stone counters with a nice leg kick.
Stone is looking to chop away at Watson's legs.
Stone throws a leg kick which misses Watson's front leg but catches the back leg as Watson tries to avoid it.
Stone stuffs the takedown attempt from Watson. Watson gets slowly back to his feet.
The fighters circling - Watson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Watson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Stone counters with an inside leg kick.
Watson shoots for a double leg takedown but Stone sprawls well. He's pushed Watson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Watson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Watson has a takedown stuffed.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Watson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Stone lands a big head kick that sends Watson tumbling to the mat! Stone takes a step backwards and waves Watson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stone drops Watson with a beautiful combination! Watson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Stone is looking for the KO!
Stone lands a nice leg kick that just misses Watson's sensitive parts.

Ben Stone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Watson tries to move into range but Stone moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Stone blocks a head kick by Watson.
Stone feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Watsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Watson tries for a takedown but Stone sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Watson takes the fight into the clinch.
Stone throws a knee to the head but misses.
Nice body punch from Stone - that landed with a thud.
Stone lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Stone fails to land.

Stone manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters circling a little - Stone finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Watson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Stone counter with a right hand.


Brian Watson's cut is getting worse.

Stone digs a good body shot into Watson's ribs.
Watson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Stone lands a big head kick that sends Watson tumbling to the mat! Stone takes a step backwards and waves Watson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh Watson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Watson misses with a few strikes there.
Watson seems to have got his legs back now.
A nice inside leg kick there by Stone. That's going to slow Watson down.
Brian Watson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Stone thows a body kick. Watson tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Watson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Stone lands a glancing blow to the side of Watson's head.

Watson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Stone. That one must have hurt.
Stone fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Stone cracks Watson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Stone thuds a left hand into Watson's body.
Stone has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Watson misses with a takedown attempt
and Watson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Stone cracks Watson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Stone has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Watson to stand back up!
Stone cracks a nice hook into Watson's ribs.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stone lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ben Stone!
