The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gracie pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

It looks like Chuck Gracie has been cut.
Powers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Powers has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Powers is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Powers throws a head kick but Gracie moves out of range.
Michael Powers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Gracie is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Powers looks calm but he's in trouble here. Gracie gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Powers is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gracie lets go of the hold and Powers can pop his arm back in it's socket.
