The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Simpson misses with a head kick.
Simpson throws a sloppy head kick and Nabijos moves out of range easily.
Nabijos wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Simpson closes the distance but Nabijos moves to the side
and Nabijos counters with a left to the body.
Nabijos blocks a head kick by Simpson.
Nabijos lands a right hook to the body.
Simpson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nabijos looks to score with a jab to the body but Simpson is just out of range.
Simpson throws a sloppy head kick
and Nabijos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nabijos lands a leg kick that knocks Simpson off balance momentarily.
Simpson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Simpson drops his hands momentarily and Nabijos takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nabijos's jab looks to have found its range, popping Simpson under the eye.

and Nabijos counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Nabijos makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Nabijos lands with an overhand left.

Nabijos pivots, looking for a leg kick but Simpson is out of range and Nabijos settles back down.
Nabijos moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Simpson is rocked!
Simpson circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Nabijos. Simpson falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Nabijos!
