Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Uriel Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steffa Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black fails with a takedown attempt.
Black throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rutten's waist but Rutten gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Black off to one side.
Black uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rutten.
Rutten ducks under a wild hook from Black.
Black shoots in but Rutten avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Uriel Black. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rutten throws a looping overhand right but Black ducks down to avoid it.
Black looks to land a combination but Rutten avoids it well.
Black throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Black shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rutten as he jumps to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed right hand from Black misses the target.
Rutten fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rutten throws a series of punches but Black moves out of range.
Rutten cracks Black with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Black showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rutten.
Black shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rutten defends it nicely.
Rutten throws a lazy right hand but Black sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Black throws a hook to the side of Rutten's head but Rutten sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Black misses with an uppercut.
Uriel Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Rutten. No joy for Black on that attempt.
Black shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rutten but Rutten pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Steffa Rutten is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Black has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Rutten.
Black is breathing heavily.
Rutten lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Black is looking to close the distance but Rutten sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Black crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Black is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
