Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Merab Murkovitch (ranked 2098 p4p, 2434 weight class) and Oskar Gudmundsson (ranked 0 p4p, 73 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Merab Murkovitch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Oskar Gudmundsson!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gudmundsson gets caught napping as Murkovitch dives in and scores a takedown. Gudmundsson manages to retain guard.
Murkovitch tries to free his leg and advance position but Gudmundsson is retaining full guard.

Murkovitch drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gudmundsson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Murkovitch has Gudmundsson in his guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Murkovitch is on top in guard.
Gudmundsson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Murkovitch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
