Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Isaiah Moreno (ranked 3949 p4p, 3528 weight class) and Derrien Gap (ranked 357 p4p, 0 weight class). Moreno comes into the arena with Skillet - The Resistance blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Isaiah Moreno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Derrien Gap!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gap shoots in and gets a takedown into Moreno's guard.
Moreno has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Gap is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Moreno wants to get back to striking at distance but Gap won't allow it.
Moreno tries a body shot but Gap blocks it.
Gap has picked Moreno up - he's going for a ride! Gap dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Ground and pound from Gap.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Moreno tries to get to full guard but Gap has control of the leg.
Gap is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Moreno is looking to improve his position.
Moreno trying to hold on to Gap's head to control him but Gap postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice strikes from Gap there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gap prevents Moreno from improving his position.
Gap working Moreno over with strikes.
Moreno is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gap scores with a couple of nice shots.
Gap looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Moreno with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Moreno taking some punishment here, with Gap in his half guard.
Moreno is in trouble now - Gap has advanced to mount!
Gap breaks from Moreno's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Moreno is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Gap working for a guillotine from mount but Moreno is in no mood to give up.
Gap has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gap sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gap lands a big elbow.
Gap landing punches.
Moreno is in a horrible position here. Gap smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Gap lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gap cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Moreno is rocked!
It looks like Isaiah Moreno has been cut.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Gap! Moreno is hurt baaadly! Gap is firing away with more strikes - Moreno is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Derrien Gap!
