Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dallas Flanders (ranked 9 p4p, 77 weight class) and Ben Crispian (ranked 1 p4p, 11 weight class). Flanders comes to the cage accompanied by Get Out My Head. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dallas Flanders! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 38 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Ben Crispian! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crispian throws a quick inside leg kick. Crispian throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Flanders seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Crispian misses the shot to the body. Crispian attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. The fighters circling - Crispian throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ben Crispian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flanders lands a left and a right that send Crispian crashing to the mat, dazed. Flanders thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
 It looks like Ben Crispian has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Crispian throws a lazy uppercut
and Flanders counters with a solid body kick. Crispian has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Flanders slips under a jab. Flanders throwing a counter right hand but Crispian manages to avoid it. Crispian throws a hook but Flanders blocks it. Flanders was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Flanders displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Crispian throws out the jab. Crispian cracks Flanders with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Crispian works Flanders's body with a nice hook. Crispian misses with a looping left. That kick from Crispian tenderised Flanders's leg. Flanders is trying to keep his angry face on. Flanders uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Crispian. Flanders swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Crispian throws a combination that misses letting Flanders counter with a right hand. Crispian walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Flanders checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Flanders lands a slapping body shot.
A nice leg kick lands there from Crispian. Crispian cracks Flanders with a right hand to the side of the head. Crispian misses with a low kick.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Crispian throws out a loose jab but Flanders uses good head movement to avoid it. Crispian swings away with a leg kick that misses. A good leg kick by Crispian. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A slow jab from Flanders misses its intended target. Crispian throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Flanders counters with a nice uppercut. Nice uppercut lands for Flanders. That snapped Crispian's head back.
 That has opened up Ben Crispian's cut even more. Flanders blocks a low kick nicely. Crispian misses with an uppercut
and Flanders counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Crispian scoring well with a low kick there.
Crispian throws a poor cross that misses
and Flanders counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Crispian rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Flanders counters with a nice uppercut. Flanders uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crispian.
Flanders is looking to counter punch. Crispian swings widly with a right hand
and Flanders counters with a stiff right hand. Crispian scores with a punch to the head. Crispian moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. We've been told by Flanders's head coaches at Convicted Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Crispian throws an off balance right hand
letting Flanders counter with a right hand.
 Crispian is rocked!
 The cut above Ben Crispian's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Flanders chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Crispian can pounce on him.
Crispian throws a body shot but no joy. Crispian misses with an uppercut. Flanders saw that one coming. A little feinted left hand from Flanders on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Flanders with a nice calf kick. Flanders thows a leg kick but Crispian checks it and Flanders takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Crispian throws a leg kick enabling Flanders to counter with a crisp jab. A bone on bone clash there as Flanders blocks the leg kick.
Crispian misses with an uppercut
and Flanders counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Crispian lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Crispian misses with a straight right. Crispian with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Crispian throws a shot from downtown. Flanders moves away and avoids it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dallas Flanders will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ben Crispian's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A slow jab from Crispian misses its intended target. Crispian looks to land a left hand but Flanders moved out of range nicely. Flanders moves out of range of the strikes. Flanders connects with the punch. Crispian fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Flanders. Crispian feints a counter leg kick. Crispian lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crispian lands a jab to the head.
Crispian lands a leg kick that knocks Flanders off balance momentarily. A nice leg kick from Crispian, right into the meat of the thigh.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A good leg kick by Crispian.
Flanders cracks Crispian with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Flanders has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Crispian to stand back up! Crispian is still on wobbly legs! Can Flanders finish him? Flanders throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Crispian counters with a lovely straight right hand! Crispian seems to have recovered his senses. Flanders takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looked like Flanders wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Crispian misses with a body shot.

Flanders throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Crispian sees it coming and avoids it easily. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Crispian! But no joy. Crispian with a body punch. A glancing blow. Crispian misses with a leg kick and Flanders counters with a stiff right hand.
 Ben Crispian's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ben Crispian's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dallas Flanders! Dallas Flanders retains his featherweight title! Our winner, Dallas Flanders, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
