Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Temujin Choibalsan (ranked 179 p4p, 504 weight class) and Ho Kogan (ranked 28 p4p, 71 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Temujin Choibalsan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Temujin Choibalsan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Temujin Choibalsan!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ho Kogan!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Choibalsan clobbers Kogan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kogan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Choibalsan appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Kogan defending well as Choibalsan loads up on a big left hand.
Kogan feints the counter takedown.
Choibalsan throws the left hand but Kogan avoids the punch easily.
Choibalsan scores with a jab to the jaw.
Kogan throws a head kick but Choibalsan moves out of range.
A left lands for Choibalsan.
Kogan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like Temujin Choibalsan has been cut.

Choibalsan shoots in and gets a takedown into Kogan's guard.

Kogan pushes Choibalsan off and gets back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Choibalsan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Kogan manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Choibalsan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kogan looks to land a left hand but Choibalsan moved out of range nicely.
Kogan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ho Kogan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kogan tries to sprawl but Choibalsan drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Choibalsan takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kogan wants to improve his position but Choibalsan is controlling well.
Kogan is trying to stand up here but Choibalsan is controlling him well.
Kogan wants to control but Choibalsan is keeping busy.
Choibalsan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Choibalsan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kogan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kogan wants to control but Choibalsan is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Choibalsan lands a nice short elbow.
Choibalsan stops Kogan from getting back to his feet.

Kogan is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Choibalsan scores with a couple of nice shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kogan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Choibalsan slips a nice elbow through Kogan's hands, connecting with Kogan's forehead.

Choibalsan is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Kogan is hurt! He's hurt bad - Choibalsan fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Kogan from any more punishment! Congratulations to Choibalsan! Great finish!
