Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Trickle (ranked 2617 p4p, 2219 weight class) and Yair Shalit (ranked 132 p4p, 73 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dick Trickle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Yair Shalit!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shalit fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Trickle checks it well.
Shalit shoots in looking for a takedown. Trickle tries to sprawl out of it but Shalit keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Trickle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Shalit fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Trickle avoids it really well and circles away.
A little feinted left hand from Trickle on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Shalit blocks a jab.

and Trickle connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dick Trickle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yair Shalit.
Shalit misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Shalit fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Trickle connects with a right hand. Shalit shakes it off.
It looks like Yair Shalit has been cut.
Trickle swings for the body but Shalit moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Some wild striking there from Trickle.
Trickle throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shalit stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shalit avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Shalit closes this distance looking for a takedown but Trickle circles away.
Trickle fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Shalit to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Shalit looks to clinch but Trickle throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Shalit taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Dick Trickle!
A very excited looking Dick Trickle made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
