Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cesar Almeida!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Moser!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moser lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Moser has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Moser cracks Almeida with a right hand to the side of the head.
Donk. Moser catches Almeida right on the button with a cross.
Moser misses with a hook.
Almeida throwing a counter right hand but Moser manages to avoid it.

enabling Almeida to counter with a crisp jab.
Horrible takedown attempt by Moser or perhaps it was just good defense by Almeida, which made it look bad.

Moser throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Moser shoots for a double leg takedown but Almeida sprawls well. He's pushed Moser's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Moser cracks Almeida with an open hand slap.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Moser looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Cesar Almeida has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Moser.

Almeida throws a counter high kick but Moser was just alert enough to avoid it.
Moser has his takedown stuffed
and Almeida counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
