The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tupua jabs Udogie right on the nose. Udogie blinks but takes it well.
Tupua closes the distance and clinches up with Udogie, looking for a takedown. Tupua pushes Udogie against the cage but Udogie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tupua throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

We've been hearing reports that Tupua has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Tupua throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Udogie tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tupua is in Udogie's guard.
