The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez moves away from the strike by Adebayor.
Sanchez clinches.
Sanchez tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Sanchez tries to pull guard but Adebayor won't allow it.
Adebayor lands an elbow just above Sanchez 's eye.
It looks like Kareem Sanchez has been cut.
Adebayor swings wildly with an uppercut but Sanchez uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sanchez manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Adebayor trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanchez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sanchez has his foot on Adebayor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Adebayor works his way back into a safe position though.
Sanchez has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sanchez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Adebayor defends well.
Adebayor is posturing up here but Sanchez has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Adebayor tries to roll out but it's too tight and Adebayor has to tap! Slick submission there by Sanchez!

Kareem Sanchez tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
