Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Breno Belmiro (ranked 359 p4p, 871 weight class) and Daniel Belyaev (ranked 38 p4p, 94 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Breno Belmiro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Belyaev! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belyaev moves forwards but Belmiro connects with a nice, crisp jab.
 It looks like Daniel Belyaev has been cut. Belmiro looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Belyaev looks for a takedown but Belmiro sprawls well. Belyaev fails with a takedown attempt. Belmiro throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Belyaev stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A big left from Belmiro misses. Belyaev looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Belmiro is fending him off so far but Belyaev persists. Nope, Belmiro circles away and we're back to standing. Breno Belmiro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Belyaev. Belmiro swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Belyaev shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Belmiro as he jumps to the side. Belyaev looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Belyaev doesn't succeed with the takedown and Belmiro cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belyaev shoots in for a takedown but Belmiro shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Belyaev shoots in and bounces Belmiro off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Belyaev looks winded! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Belyaev with a nice head shot there. Belmiro bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Belyaev's guard.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Belmiro passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Belmiro wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Belyaev, who protects the arm well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Belmiro working the head with strikes. Belyaev is looking to reverse the position. Belmiro has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Belmiro working the ground and pound. Belyaev is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Belmiro advances to mount. Belyaev keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Belmiro lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Belyaev hang on? Belmiro is in the full mount, landing strikes. Belmiro looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Belmiro landing strikes from the mount. A nice elbow there by Belmiro. Belyaev is squirming around, avoiding Belmiro's attempts to control the action.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee warns Belyaev that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Belmiro with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Belyaev gets back to half guard. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Belmiro content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Belmiro is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Ground and pound from Belmiro. Belmiro working Belyaev over with strikes. Belmiro wants to control but Belyaev is keeping him busy. Belyaev is looking to improve his position.

Belmiro is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Belyaev defends it well. Belmiro wants to free his trapped foot but Belyaev is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Belmiro is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Belyaev sees it coming and defends easily. Belyaev is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Belmiro trying to control the action but Belyaev is working from the bottom.
Belmiro is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Belyaev moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Belyaev looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Belyaev manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Belmiro manages to get himself to full guard.
 Belyaev must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Belmiro is on top in guard.
Belmiro distracts Belyaev with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Belmiro cracks Belyaev with a solid left hand. Belmiro trying to control but Belyaev is working from the bottom. Belmiro lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Belmiro preventing the sweep. Belyaev is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
 The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Belmiro works his way to full guard. Good work. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Breno Belmiro dominated that round. The cut man is working on Daniel Belyaev's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Belmiro connects with a crisp jab. Belyaev shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Belmiro sprawls well. Belmiro wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Belyaev gets slowly back to his feet. Daniel Belyaev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Belyaev shoots in for a double leg but Belmiro sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Belyaev tries for a takedown but Belmiro circles away easily and Belmiro counters with a stiff right hand. Breno Belmiro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Belyaev. Belmiro misses with a looping right. Belyaev misses with a takedown
and Belmiro counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Belmiro is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Belyaev can do to turn this around? Belmiro wants to control from the top but Belyaev keeps moving. Breno Belmiro overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Belmiro lands a couple of decent looking shots. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belyaev keeping moving, preventing Belmiro from controlling successfully. Belmiro sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Belyaev's guard. Belmiro landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Belmiro is looking to take a break and control but Belyaev is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Belmiro drops an elbow to the side of Belyaev's head.

Belmiro prevents Belyaev from improving his position. Belyaev is breathing heavily. Belmiro lands with a punch from half guard. Belyaev is looking for a sweep. Belmiro is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Belyaev regains full guard. Nicely done. Belmiro wants to control from the top but Belyaev keeps moving. Belmiro advances to half guard.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Belmiro is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Belyaev is in all sorts of trouble here.
Belmiro fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Belmiro lands a heavy elbow. Belmiro raining down hammerfists from mount. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Belyaev is wriggling around trying to escape.

 Belyaev is rocked! Belmiro in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Belyaev is still in real trouble! Can Belmiro finish him? Belmiro cracks Belyaev with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
