Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ben Crispian (ranked 102 p4p, 247 weight class) and Matthew Murray (ranked 13 p4p, 27 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Ben Crispian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matthew Murray!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crispian misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Murray.
Murray defending well as Crispian loads up on a big left hand.
Murray pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Crispian throws a big counter combination but Murray scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Crispian slips under a jab.
Crispian connects with a solid leg kick.
Murray checks a low kick from Crispian.
Crispian throws a hook to the side of Murray's head but Murray sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Crispian connects with a nice looking jab.
Crispian cracks Murray with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murray uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Crispian.

Crispian scores with a hook to the body. Murray takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Crispian misses with a jab to the body
and Crispian takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Ben Crispian has been cut.

Murray throws a poor cross that misses
and Crispian counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Crispian throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Murray counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Crispian fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Murray has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Murray fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Crispian catches Murray with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Crispian walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Murray checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Murray throws a counter combo.
Crispian is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Crispian lands a slapping body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crispian throws a left and a right that both miss
and Murray counters with a head kick that drops Crispian to the mat! Crispian scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Crispian is rocked!
Crispian keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Murray.
Oh Crispian is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crispian has been working on his boxing with his coaches at League of Shadows MMA in the buildup to the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Crispian moves out of range of the body kick from Murray.
Crispian seems to have got his legs back now.
Murray blocks a jab.
Decent striking displayed by Crispian there.
Murray is rocked!
Crispian tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Murray is able to avoid easily.
Murray is still on wobbly legs! Can Crispian finish him?
Murray clinches.
Murray breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Murray seems to have recovered his senses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Crispian. Murray does a little dance to reset his feet.
Crispian keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Murray moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Crispian throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Murray stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Crispian slips a jab from Murray.
Crispian closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Murray! Crispian dives in looking to finish! Murray is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Crispian!
During a confident post fight interview, Ben Crispian thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
