Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between MC Grindah (ranked 276 p4p, 1535 weight class) and Erick Vaughn (ranked 41 p4p, 191 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Grindah might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kurupt FM Presents Heart Monitor Riddem: Music Video. MC Grindah could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Erick Vaughn's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, MC Grindah! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Erick Vaughn! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grindah blocks a jab. Grindah misses with a hook. Vaughn looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Vaughn defending well as Grindah loads up on a big left hand. Vaughn throws a hook but Grindah avoids it easily. Vaughn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Grindah looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Grindah misses with a wild body shot. Vaughn throws a hook but Grindah blocks it. Vaughn misses with a body shot.
Grindah lands with an uppercut that bounces Vaughn off the cage and back into range. Grindah moves out of range as Vaughn strikes. Vaughn throws a wild combination but nothing lands. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grindah takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Vaughn swings for the body but Grindah moves out of range.
Grindah is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Grindah missing with a left hand there. Vaughn was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Grindah throws a hook but Vaughn blocks it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Vaughn clobbers Grindah with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Erick Vaughn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vaughn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grindah manages to avoid it. Grindah throwing a counter right hand but Vaughn manages to avoid it. Vaughn swinging wildly here.
Grindah lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Grindah avoids the body shot from Vaughn.
Grindah defending well as Vaughn loads up on a big left hand. Grindah is looking to counter with a shot to the body. The fighters circle momentarily. Vaughn darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Grindah bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Grindah lands a slapping body shot.
Vaughn stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Grindah lands a head shot. Grindah cracks Vaughn with a right hand to the side of the head. We've been told by Grindah's head coaches at Physical Graffiti that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. This has been an exciting period of action! Grindah avoids the body shot from Vaughn.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Vaughn has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Grindah. Vaughn scores with a nice strike. Vaughn lands a two punch combo.
Grindah keeps Vaughn at a distance using the push kick. Grindah bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Vaughn's head. Grindah blocks a jab. Grindah misses the shot to the body. Vaughn just misses with a punch to the body.
Vaughn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Grindah stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A big left from Vaughn misses. Vaughn takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
 Vaughn is rocked! Vaughn looks to land a combination but Grindah avoids it well. Grindah misses with a looping right. Vaughn throws a counter combo.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Grindah lands a left and a right that send Vaughn crashing to the mat, dazed. Grindah thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Vaughn is still on wobbly legs! Can Grindah finish him? Vaughn misses with a double jab
and Grindah counters with a big left hand that crumples Vaughn! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). MC Grindah! MC Grindah retains his middleweight title! A relieved looking MC Grindah thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
