The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkov lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Jeramiah Yurchon has been cut.
Volkov lands a big uppercut and Yurchon crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Yurchon looks OK. Volkov waves Yurchon back to his feet!
Yurchon is rocked!
Volkov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Yurchon is still on wobbly legs! Can Volkov finish him?
Volkov unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Yurchon! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Volkov is unloading with more strikes now! Yurchon drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ivan Volkov!
After winning the bout, Ivan Volkov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
