The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimes takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Grimes throws a hook but Koones blocks it.
Koones looks to score with a jab to the body but Grimes is just out of range.
Grimes misses with an uppercut.
Koones keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Grimes.
Koones connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Grimes momentarily.
Grimes throws out a loose jab but Koones uses good head movement to avoid it.

Eric Koones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Grimes seems to have recovered his senses.

Grimes tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Grimes tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Koones's elbow.

Oh Koones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Grimes lands a big right hand that drops Koones! The killer instinct kicks in and Grimes finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Grimes!
