Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between William Kidd (ranked 1079 p4p, 1206 weight class) and Jeremy Arnason (ranked 145 p4p, 159 weight class). Kidd comes to the cage accompanied by Killer Instinct - SPINAL. Arnason has chosen Michael Jackson - Off The Wall as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, William Kidd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Arnason!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arnason on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Kidd fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kidd scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Kidd tries to clinch but Arnason is having none of it.
Arnason doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Kidd shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Arnason but Arnason pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A nice side step and Arnason releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Good exchange - Kidd coming out on top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kidd misses with a straight left.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kidd. Arnason does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kidd falls off balance throwing a combination
and Arnason counters with a crisp one two that drops Kidd! Arnason thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kidd to his feet! Kidd is in big trouble!
Kidd is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kidd misses with a body punch
and Arnason counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Kidd off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Arnason follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Kidd was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jeremy Arnason!
Our winner, Jeremy Arnason, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
