Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Isamu San Chai (ranked 166 p4p, 129 weight class) and Musa Vitalik (ranked 27 p4p, 21 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Vitalik's choice of entrance music: Planet Purge - Midnight Tyrannosaurus & Ehide. Isamu San Chai could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Musa Vitalik's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Isamu San Chai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Musa Vitalik!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vitalik throws a body shot but no joy.
A telegraphed right hand from Vitalik misses the target.
Chai gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Isamu San Chai has been cut.
Chai throws a jab but it's blocked by Vitalik.
Vitalik swats away the attempt to clinch by Chai.

and Chai counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chai lunges at Vitalik with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Vitalik's hand.

Chai wants to land a leg kick but Vitalik is out of range.

Chai slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Chai wants to clinch up but Vitalik keeps it at a distance.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Vitalik has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Vitalik scores with a crisp jab that stopped Chai in his tracks.
Musa Vitalik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Chai enables Vitalik to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chai manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Vitalik closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Vitalik throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Vitalik is trying to control. Chai wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Vitalik thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Vitalik is trying to control the action in half guard but Chai is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Chai is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Vitalik's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Vitalik's back!

Musa Vitalik dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Isamu San Chai's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Chai was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

and Chai counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Vitalik thinking.
Isamu San Chai is winning the standup battle so far.
Chai jabs Vitalik to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Chai lands a jab to the nose.

Vitalik throws a lazy uppercut
and Chai counters with a nice right hand that sends Vitalik toppling to the canvas! Vitalik scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Chai finish him?!
Vitalik is rocked!
It looks like Chai has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Vitalik fails with the takedown
and Chai rattles Vitalik with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Vitalik tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Chai dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Vitalik stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Isamu San Chai!
After winning the bout, Isamu San Chai thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
