Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wood Chuck (ranked 21 p4p, 193 weight class) and Wonderbeau Winkle (ranked 3 p4p, 27 weight class). Chuck comes to the cage accompanied by Who Needs A Girl Like You - Indian Wars. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wood Chuck!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Wonderbeau Winkle!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chuck swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Chuck takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Winkle throws a leg kick that is checked
and Chuck counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Winkle regains full guard. Nicely done.
Chuck throwing strikes but missing.
Chuck postures up in Winkle's guard and throws a big left but Winkle blocks it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chuck accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Chuck wants to control from the top but Winkle keeps moving.
Chuck trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Winkle keeping moving, preventing Chuck from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chuck in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Chuck lands a couple of digs.
Chuck wants to control from the top but Winkle keeps moving.
Chuck postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Chuck wants to pass the guard but Winkle is keeping the position.
Chuck with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Chuck content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Winkle has locked up a guillotine! Winkle's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Chuck is holding on here and Winkle must be using up a lot of energy. Chuck has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Winkle gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Wonderbeau Winkle!
