The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones dives in and grabs Dankovich's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dankovich pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
Dankovich throws out a counter right but Jones avoids it with no problem.
Dankovich throws a hook but Jones blocks it.
Dankovich misses with a hook. Jones ducked under it nicely.
Jones has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Jones looks to land a right hand but Dankovich moved out of range.
Dankovich has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Dankovich lands a big uppercut and Jones crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Jones looks OK. Dankovich waves Jones back to his feet!
It looks like Hamburger Jones has been cut.
Jones is looking to clinch.

Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dankovich sprawls well. Dankovich wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.

Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Dankovich sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hamburger Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jones shoots in and drives through. Dankovich sprawls well.

Jones rushes Dankovich and presses him up against the cage.
Dankovich tries to throw a body punch but Jones avoids it by throwing Dankovich back against the cage.
Jones manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Dankovich is sitting in close to Jones's body. Jones has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Dankovich is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Dankovich is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Jones.
