Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Santoro (ranked 269 p4p, 956 weight class) and Bobo Valdenius (ranked 37 p4p, 127 weight class). Santoro comes to the cage accompanied by WEIGHT ON ME. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Santoro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bobo Valdenius!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santoro takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Santoro gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Santoro has his feet on Valdenius's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Santoro throws a hook but Valdenius blocks it.
We've been told by Santoro's head coaches at Convicted Fight Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Valdenius looks to throw the jab but Santoro is out of range.
Valdenius goes for a double leg but Santoro avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Santoro continues to drive forward.
It looked like Santoro was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Valdenius.

Santoro shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Santoro on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

A frustrated look appears on Valdenius's face as he tries to break the clinch.

A nice right hand lands inside from Santoro.
Santoro lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Valdenius backwards.

Valdenius ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Valdenius no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tommy Santoro will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

After winning the bout, Tommy Santoro thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
