Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Isamu San Chai (ranked 216 p4p, 84 weight class) and Jon Kramer (ranked 35 p4p, 14 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Isamu San Chai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Kramer!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai stuffs the takedown.
Chai fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kramer manages to avoid it.
Kramer is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Chai ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kramer moves away.
Kramer tries to counter with a clinch but Chai shakes him off and moves away.
Kramer fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Kramer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Isamu San Chai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Kramer.
Chai connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Chai shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Chai throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chai misses with a body kick.
Chai lands with a thumping leg kick.
Chai dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kramer. That did some damage!
Chai will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Chai sets himself, and Kramer steps forward looking for the clinch! Chai avoids it this time.

Chai loads up on a big right hand but Kramer slips the punch.
Kramer drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Chai defends it well.
Kramer has his takedown stuffed
and Kramer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Chai throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Chai dips to his left and cracks Kramer with an uppercut!
Kramer checks the leg kick nicely there.
Kramer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chai sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kramer somewhat.

Chai misses with a straight left.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kramer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Chai was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Kramer fails with the takedown.
Chai jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kramer avoids the body shot from Chai.
Chai throws a leg kick that misses.
Chai goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Chai feints and then cracks Kramer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kramer down.
Chai misses with an uppercut.
Kramer is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Chai lands a nice hook to Kramer's body. Kramer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kramer shoots in for a takedown but Chai shows good takedown defense.
A quick step to the side and Chai tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kramer dives in for a single leg takedown but Chai sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Kramer shoots in for a double leg but Chai sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kramer tries to close the distance and clinch but Chai swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chai throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Kramer steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Chai.

Kramer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chai avoids it really well and circles away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Chai enables Kramer to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chai manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Kramer is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Chai is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Chai has escaped and now he's on top!

Kramer lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Kramer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kramer postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Chai is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kramer, into his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chai throws a shot from downtown. Kramer moves away and avoids it.
Isamu San Chai is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Kramer shoots in for a takedown but Chai shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Chai throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Kramer creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Chai sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kramer wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Chai, who protects the arm well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jon Kramer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kramer throws an elbow that misses. Chai uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kramer's guard. Nice move by Chai!
