Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Andreas Burns (ranked 5011 p4p, 3575 weight class) and Sam Canasta (ranked 475 p4p, 386 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andreas Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Canasta! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burns throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Canasta. Canasta attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Canasta lands an overhand right. Canasta jabbing away but nothing is landing. A little feinted left hand from Burns on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Canasta looks to land a left hand but Burns moved out of range nicely. Canasta uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Burns. Burns blocks a leg kick. It looked like Burns wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Burns displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. The fighters circling - Burns throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jab, jab by Burns - just one landing. A chopping leg kick lands by Canasta. Burns takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Burns lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Canasta backs up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A looping hook to the body misses from Burns. Canasta does a little dance to reset his feet. Burns on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Canasta. Canasta obviously looking to wear him down.

Burns looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Burns throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Burns changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Burns tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Canasta was well out of range. Poor timing from Burns. Burns takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Burns loads up on a big right hand but Canasta slips the punch. Canasta throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Canasta misses with an uppercut. Canasta swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Burns throws a shot from downtown. Canasta moves away and avoids it. Burns looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Canasta moves out of range as Burns strikes. Burns misses with a looping right. Sam Canasta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Canasta loads up on a big right hand but Burns slips the punch. Burns is looking to counter punch. Canasta takes a body punch but keeps moving. Burns moves out of range as Canasta strikes. Canasta takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Canasta throws a hook to the side of Burns's head but Burns sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Burns walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Burns fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Canasta manages to avoid it. Canasta throws a low kick but Burns avoids it. Burns takes a swing at Canasta's ribcage but misses. Burns has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Burns there as he acknowledges the shot. Burns uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Canasta has time to react. Canasta tries to bum rush Burns with a series of wild strikes but Burns uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Canasta ducks under a wild hook from Burns. Burns moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Burns connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Canasta dips to his left and cracks Burns with an uppercut! Canasta drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Burns jabbing away but nothing is landing. Canasta throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Burns takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Burns lands a jab. Burns fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Canasta manages to avoid it. Burns misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Canasta swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Canasta on the wrong end of a nice hook.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Canasta has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Canasta there as he acknowledges the shot. Canasta throws an off balance right hand
and Burns counters with a three punch combo that has Canasta backing up. Canasta nods at Burns to acknowledge the strikes.
 Canasta is rocked! Canasta throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Canasta is still on wobbly legs! Can Burns finish him? Canasta misses the shot to the body. Canasta drops his guard momentarily, allowing Burns to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Canasta! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Burns takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Andreas Burns! A less than humble Andreas Burns misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
