Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sylwester Goryl (ranked 1367 p4p, 2181 weight class) and Marques Brown (ranked 165 p4p, 234 weight class). Goryl comes into the arena with Little Simz - Gorilla blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws the left hand but Goryl avoids the punch easily.
Goryl scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Marques Brown has been cut.
Goryl ducks right into an uppercut from Brown.
Goryl cracks Brown with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Goryl throws a right hand that misses
and Brown cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nice shot lands for Brown.
Goryl on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Brown ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Brown throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Brown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Goryl manages to avoid it.

Goryl darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Brown throws out a loose jab but Goryl uses good head movement to avoid it.
Brown pushes Goryl away with a front kick.
Brown lands a nice shot to the body.

Brown with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Goryl on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Brown. Brown obviously looking to wear him down.
Goryl is looking to slow Brown down with leg kicks.

Goryl throws a shot from downtown. Brown moves away and avoids it.

Goryl slips a jab from Brown.
Goryl looks to throw the jab but Brown is out of range.
Goryl misses with a hook. Brown ducked under it nicely.
Brown throws an overhand right that lands on Goryl's shoulder, as Goryl tries to avoid the shot.
Goryl is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Brown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Goryl manages to avoid it.

The fighters circling - Goryl throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Goryl swings widly with a right hand
and Brown counters with a straight right hand.
Brown avoids the head kick by Goryl.

A left lands for Goryl.

Brown gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Brown connects with a crisp jab.
A jab from Goryl misses.
Goryl moves out of range as Brown strikes.
Brown has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Brown throws an overhand right that lands on Goryl's shoulder, as Goryl tries to avoid the shot.
Goryl lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Goryl uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brown.

Goryl cracks Brown with a hook to the temple - Brown is on wobbly legs here! Goryl swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Brown falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Goryl wins by TKO!
