Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeong Yeong Lee (ranked 3651 p4p, 3492 weight class) and Button Gwinnett (ranked 331 p4p, 316 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeong Yeong Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Button Gwinnett! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A low kick from Gwinnett misses and Lee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Lee lands a glancing blow to the side of Gwinnett's head. Gwinnett is looking to slow Lee down with leg kicks. Gwinnett connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lee. Lee circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Gwinnett moves into range and connects with a jab. Lee takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Gwinnett uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lee. Gwinnett scores with the left hand. Lee knows he should have avoided that one. Lee paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gwinnett misses with a wild body shot.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lee getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Lee throws a lazy right hand but Gwinnett sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Gwinnett is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. A punch lands to the side of Lee 's head but he takes it in his stride. Lee walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Gwinnett cracks Lee with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Gwinnett lands with a straight right. Lee didn't see that one coming. Gwinnett lands a jab. Gwinnett has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Lee throws a jab when Gwinnett was well out of range. Gwinnett lands a jab to the head.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee swings widly with a right hand
and Gwinnett counters with a lovely shot to the body. Gwinnett is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Lee had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lee with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gwinnett to score with a decent uppercut. Gwinnett connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lee. Lee circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Gwinnett connects with a crisp jab. Gwinnett just misses with a punch to the body.
Lee swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Lee throws a big shot that misses. Gwinnett feints a counter leg kick. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gwinnett, as that shot connected.
Gwinnett is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Gwinnett throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gwinnett misses with an uppercut. Lee saw that one coming. Lee is looking to counter punch.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Gwinnett lands with an overhand left. Gwinnett scores with a nice head shot. Lee throws a big shot that misses. A countering left hand to the body from Gwinnett misses. Gwinnett with a jab. A big left from Lee misses. Gwinnett lands with a hook. Lee tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Lee misses with a right hand and Gwinnett counters with a left to the body. Gwinnett lands the left hand. Button Gwinnett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gwinnett with the inside leg kick.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gwinnett, as that shot connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gwinnett throws a nice inside leg kick. A punch combination from Gwinnett misses. Lee throws a right hand that Gwinnett ducks under and follows up with a left that Gwinnett also avoids with ease. Gwinnett throws a lazy uppercut
and Lee counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lee has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gwinnett finds it's way round the side to connect with Lee's head. Gwinnett throws a front kick that sends Lee stumbling back into the ropes. Gwinnett lands a nice looking body shot.
A left lands for Lee.
 That's five minutes gone in the round. Nice jab there from Gwinnett. Gwinnett looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Lee on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gwinnett goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Gwinnett lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Gwinnett throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lee counters with a nice uppercut. A jab from Gwinnett finds it's way through Lee's defenses. Gwinnett throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Gwinnett pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Lee is looking to counter punch.
 That's six minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Good exchange - Gwinnett coming out on top. Gwinnett comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Gwinnett ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Gwinnett misses with a few strikes there.
Lee was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Gwinnett lands a leg kick that knocks Lee off balance momentarily. A jab from Lee misses. Gwinnett catches Lee with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Gwinnett displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lee throws out the jab. Gwinnett scores with a jab to the jaw.
 That's seven minutes gone in the round. Lee throws a hook but Gwinnett blocks it. Good shot there by Gwinnett. Well,Lee is on his way to losing a decision here. Can he use his experience to pull something off in the closing minutes? Lee scores with the left hand. Gwinnett knows he should have avoided that one. Gwinnett misses with an attempted mid kick.
Gwinnett jabs Lee right on the nose. Lee blinks but takes it well. Gwinnett fails to land with a series of punches.
Gwinnett lands a slapping body shot.
Gwinnett cracks Lee with a right hand to the side of the head. Lee throws a series of punches but Gwinnett moves out of range. It seemed like Gwinnett was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Lee is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
 That's eight minutes gone in the round. Gwinnett looks to throw a body kick and Lee counters with a nice uppercut. Lee takes a body punch but keeps moving. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gwinnett connects with a jab. Gwinnett moves into range and connects with a jab. Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gwinnett was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee. Lee looks to land a right hand but Gwinnett moved out of range. Gwinnett bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lee's head backwards. Gwinnett throws a head kick but Lee moves out of range.
 That's nine minutes gone in the round. Lee slips a jab and a cross from Gwinnett.
Lee is looking to counter punch. A slow jab from Lee misses its intended target. Gwinnett was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Gwinnett throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lee stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Gwinnett tries to land a leg kick but Lee saw it coming and moves away.
Button Gwinnett is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gwinnett is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Lee throws a body punch but Gwinnett moves out of range. Gwinnett fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Jeong Yeong Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lee throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Gwinnett to counter with a crisp jab. Gwinnett getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Gwinnett lands with an overhand left.
And that's the end of the fight! Button Gwinnett comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gwinnett has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
