Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dickie Dunstable (ranked 1304 p4p, 3164 weight class) and Demetrius Sims (ranked 124 p4p, 293 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Demetrius Sims was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dickie Dunstable!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Demetrius Sims!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Sims or perhaps it was just good defense by Dunstable, which made it look bad.
Sims closes the distance and clinches.
Sims is trying to drag Dunstable to the mat but Dunstable just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
With the fighters up against the cage, Dunstable throws an elbow but misses.
Sims avoids the elbow strike from Dunstable, against the cage.
Dunstable unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Sims digs a right hand underneath Dunstable's ribcage. Dunstable let out a lung full of air as it connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Dunstable just misses with a elbow thrown towards Sims's brow.

Sims pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Dunstable cracks Sims with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Sims tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Dunstable pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Sims is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dickie Dunstable!
