Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Elliot Stabler (ranked 410 p4p, 375 weight class) and Will Hopper (ranked 57 p4p, 51 weight class). Will Hopper struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Elliot Stabler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 26 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Will Hopper! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! That kick from Hopper tenderised Stabler's leg. Stabler is trying to keep his angry face on. Hopper connects with an inside leg kick. Hopper doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Stabler checks a low kick from Hopper. Stabler fires out a quick counter leg kick but Hopper just manages to avoid it. Stabler has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio in the buildup to the fight. Hopper moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
 It looks like Will Hopper has been cut. Hopper slips under a jab from Stabler. Hopper was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Hopper lands a slapping body shot.
Stabler throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Stabler misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hopper.
Hopper looks like he wants to counter punch here. Nice defenses there by Hopper. Hopper throws a nice inside leg kick. Hopper chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Stabler tries to move into range but Hopper moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Hopper swings away with a leg kick that misses. Hopper moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Stabler dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A telegraphed right hand from Stabler misses the target. Hopper missing with a left hand there. Stabler was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A nice inside leg kick there by Hopper. That's going to slow Stabler down. Hopper throws a good cross that connects.

Stabler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hopper.
Hopper has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Stabler throws a shot from downtown. Hopper moves away and avoids it. Stabler misses with an uppercut
and Hopper counters with a nice uppercut.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Hopper tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hopper lands a nice leg kick that just misses Stabler's sensitive parts. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stabler swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hopper lands a nice shot to the body.
Stabler swings and misses with a shot to the body and Hopper makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Stabler really felt that one! Stabler misses with an uppercut. Hopper looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Hopper moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Hopper takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hopper looks to land a right hand but Stabler moved out of range. Stabler throws a lazy uppercut
and Hopper counters with a nice uppercut. Hopper cracks a nice hook into Stabler's ribs.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Hopper misses the shot to the body. Hopper throws a combination that misses letting Stabler counter with a right hand. Stabler throws a lazy uppercut
and Hopper counters with a two punch combo. Hopper swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hopper throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Stabler throws a lazy uppercut
and Hopper counters with a lovely straight right hand! Stabler missing with a left hand there. Hopper was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Hopper flicks out a counter leg kick but Stabler steps away. Stabler throws a right and a left that Hopper avoids nicely. Stabler throws a poor cross that misses
letting Hopper counter with a right hand. Hopper lands a head kick!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hopper ducks under a wild hook from Stabler. It seemed like Hopper was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Stabler throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Stabler rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Hopper counter with a right hand. A nice leg kick from Hopper, right into the meat of the thigh.
Stabler takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Hopper looks to land a body kick but Stabler moved away. Stabler is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Hopper's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Jab from Hopper. Stabler is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Hopper misses with an attempted mid kick.
Nice shot by Stabler. Stabler misses with a left hand and Hopper connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Will Hopper dominated that round. The cut man is working on Will Hopper's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Will Hopper seems to be getting the better of the standup. Stabler doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Stabler might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Hopper avoids the body shot from Stabler.
Hopper has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A punch combination from Hopper misses. Stabler looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A punch combination from Stabler misses. Hopper fakes the leg kick and cracks Stabler in the body. Hopper throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Stabler is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Stabler misses with a right hand and Hopper counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hopper moves out of range of the strikes. Hopper has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Stabler takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Good standup being displayed there by Hopper as he connects with a hook.

Hopper throws a head kick that misses and Stabler counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stabler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hopper moves away. Hopper is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Stabler misses with a combination
and Hopper connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Stabler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hopper.
A little feinted left hand from Stabler on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Stabler throws the left hand but Hopper avoids the punch easily. Stabler throws an off balance right hand
and Hopper counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Stabler misses with a left hand and Hopper counters with a straight right hand.
 Stabler is rocked! That kick from Hopper tenderised Stabler's leg. Stabler is trying to keep his angry face on. Oh Stabler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hopper cracks Stabler with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hopper has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Stabler to stand back up!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Stabler takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hopper steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stabler. Stabler swings and misses with a shot to the body and Hopper counters with a thumping low kick. Stabler scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Stabler seems to have got his legs back now. Stabler is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hopper. Stabler misses with a straight left. Hopper takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Hopper pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Stabler back to the cage. Hopper follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Stabler dives in for a single leg takedown but Hopper sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Hopper now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Both fighters working to control the clinch.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A head punch on the inside from Stabler fails to land. Hopper lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hopper breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Hopper counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A swing and a miss from Stabler. A head kick misses from Hopper. Hopper misses with a looping left. Hopper throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stabler sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hopper looks to throw a body kick letting Stabler counter with a right hand. Stabler throws out a loose jab but Hopper uses good head movement to avoid it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Will Hopper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Will Hopper's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

Stabler half committed to a counter leg kick. Stabler misses with a straight left. Stabler is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Stabler throws a shot from downtown. Hopper moves away and avoids it. A countering left hand to the body from Hopper misses. Hopper throws a hook to the side of Stabler's head but Stabler sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Stabler walks into a stiff left hand from Hopper. Hopper misses with a looping left. Stabler will be more careful next time no doubt. Stabler looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Stabler throws a right hand that misses
and Hopper counters with a nice right hand that sends Stabler toppling to the canvas! Stabler scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Hopper finish him?! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hopper throws a hook to the side of Stabler's head but Stabler sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Stabler throws a hook but Hopper avoids it easily. Hopper swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Hopper lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Stabler falls backwards - clearly groggy! Hopper dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Will Hopper! Will Hopper decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
