Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aleksandr Pushkin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 19 - 4, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pavel Kostov!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Pushkin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kostov but Kostov pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kostov tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Pushkin looks for a takedown but Kostov sprawls well.
And Kostov tries to counter it with a takedown but Pushkin pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Pushkin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kostov did well to prevent Pushkin getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pushkin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kostov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pushkin.
Pushkin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Pushkin is working for a submission of some sort.
Kostov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pushkin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pushkin is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Pushkin has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kostov defend it? Pushkin steps over the head and cranks it - Kostov is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Pushkin!
