Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Todd (ranked 2189 p4p, 1655 weight class) and Ivica Jokic (ranked 54 p4p, 34 weight class). Ivica Jokic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alexander Todd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivica Jokic! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jokic stuffs the takedown.
Todd scores with a takedown into Jokic's guard. Todd is pushing down on Jokic's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jokic is fighting to maintain full guard but Todd has managed to sneak the leg through. Jokic trying to hold on to Todd's head to control him but Todd postures up.
Todd keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Todd wants to pass to mount but Jokic is defending the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jokic can do anything to dispel that myth. Todd is thwarting Jokic's attempts to control the position.

Todd seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jokic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Todd passes to full mount! Jokic has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Todd is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Jokic defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Jokic is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Todd off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Jokic trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Todd has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Todd keeps control of the position as Jokic tries to break free.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jokic keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jokic drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Todd defends it well. Todd shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Todd shoots for a takedown but Jokic saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Todd. That's going to take a lot out of him. Todd looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jokic changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Todd tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jokic swivels and escapes. Todd looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. No luck with that takedown attempt from Todd. Jokic feints the counter takedown. Todd fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jokic is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Todd fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Todd shoots in for a takedown but Jokic shows good takedown defense. Jokic has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Alexander Todd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Todd slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jokic seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Alexander Todd overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Todd wants to pass the guard but Jokic is keeping the position.

 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Jokic slaps away a takedown attempt from Todd, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jokic tries to sprawl out of it but Todd keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jokic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Todd drives through with a takedown into guard. Todd controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Todd postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jokic is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Todd, into his guard.
Todd managing to control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Todd looking for a sweep. Not yet Todd, not yet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ivica Jokic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Nice body punch from Jokic - that landed with a thud.

Jokic lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Jokic gets through Todd's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Todd blocking some punches.
Jokic lands a right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jokic throws a head punch that misses. Jokic stops a takedown attempt from Todd.
Todd is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jokic gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Jokic swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Todd has Jokic pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Todd pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jokic tumbling to the mat - Todd dives into Jokic's guard. Jokic is trying to control the position but Todd postures up. Todd wants to control from the top but Jokic keeps moving. Jokic can't keep his opponent in guard - Todd advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Jokic is looking for a sweep. Todd is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Todd passes to side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jokic tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Todd easily slips into full mount! Jokic tries to control Todd's body but Todd pushes him off. Jokic squirms to his side and now Todd has his back!

Todd is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Jokic knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Jokic for a finish.
And that's the end of the fight! Ivica Jokic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jokic has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
