Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darius Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Azevedo!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azevedo dives in for a single leg takedown but Black sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Azevedo takes one to the chin there.
Azevedo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nice jab there from Black.
It looks like Bruno Azevedo has been cut.
A big right from Black misses.
Azevedo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Azevedo closes the distance and clinches up with Black, looking for a takedown. Azevedo pushes Black against the cage but Black circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Azevedo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Black fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Azevedo dives in and scores a takedown into Black's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Black has Azevedo pulled in close to control his posture.
Azevedo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Black striking off his back but it's not causing Azevedo any problems.

Black has control of Azevedo's left arm, preventing Azevedo from doing any damage.
Azevedo throws an elbow that misses. Black uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Azevedo's guard. Nice move by Black!
Black stops Azevedo from standing up.
Black is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Black loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Black slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Black thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Black tries to free his leg and advance position but Azevedo is retaining full guard.
Azevedo is looking to stand up but Black isn't so interested in that idea.
Black sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Black is looking to stand up but Azevedo won't let him.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Black misses with a straight left.
Darius Black is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Azevedo darts in looking for a takedown but Black gets double underhooks and turns Azevedo into the cage.
Darius Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruno Azevedo.
Azevedo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Black counters with a one-two to the body.
Azevedo shoots in for a takedown but Black shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Azevedo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Black connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Azevedo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bruno Azevedo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Azevedo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Black counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Azevedo looks winded!
Azevedo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Black to score with a decent uppercut.

Black sends Azevedo crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Black is motioning to the referee to let Azevedo up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Azevedo is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Azevedo circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Black. Azevedo falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Black!
