Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gorath DeeStroy (ranked 2247 p4p, 1845 weight class) and Jamie Lannister (ranked 265 p4p, 224 weight class). Jamie Lannister will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeeStroy fails with the takedown.

Lannister goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Lannister uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by DeeStroy.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
DeeStroy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lannister tries to avoid it but DeeStroy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lannister to the ground. Lannister escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

DeeStroy takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lannister is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! DeeStroy had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

DeeStroy shoots in and drives through. Lannister sprawls well.
Lannister feints a jab promting DeeStroy to slip. Lannister then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. DeeStroy slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Well Lannister has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
